Did Salman Khan cancel a US show organised by a Pakistani event promoter?

Not surprising to be honest. So much for art without borders.

So much for art without borders.

According to IANS, Salman Khan has reportedly cancelled a live performance in Houston, United States because the event was being organised by a Pakistani event promoter, Rehan Siddiqui.

Previously, Bollywood actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh had to cancel his appearance at an upcoming show being promoted by Siddiqui after being issued a notice by Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

In September 2019, FWICE had also asked Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan to "delink themselves" from participating at an event in the US organised by a Pakistani national, Moazzma Hunain.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan hasn't confirmed the reports yet on his social media or otherwise.

The poor guy has only two choices, either stand with the truth of worry about his future in movies. He has chosen the latter.

Its a shame that Indian artists are being bullied like this. Hindu facists like Modi and RSS must be happy for putting someone like Salman's clout in his place.

Why do you arrange an event where these pseudo Khans are major attraction ? These millionaires who sell song & dance movies to Indian public are money grabbers , they have no sympathy for fellow Indian Muslims. Except for Naseer ud din Shah, other Muslim artists like these 3 Khans dare not defy Narendra Modi.

Rhetoric from our leaders and the fear of backlash on the part of our artists, on both sides, has nullified any chances of near term peace between India and Pakistan. Unfortunately, the gap between us seems to be increasing more and more.

He is doing what is best for his country. On the contrary, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was doing shows in UK last year organised by Indians.I was at Wembley and people showed their reaction in the arena when Rahat said organisers names. What a shame.
