Xarb wants you to break barriers in their new music video
All the favourites from Pepsi Battle of the Bands have been on a roll with new music videos and Xarb is the latest to do so.
The band launched a video for their original track 'Deewar' and it's got a powerful message:
The video features a woman struggling to run ahead while being held back by ominous masked folk. The tone seems to talk about breaking barriers and breaking free from whatever shackles you.
The end of the video resembles the ending of Kashmir's latest music video for 'Parwana Hun' which makes us think there's been an overall theme to the return of each band's release from Pepsi and that's to not be confined within one's personal boundaries.
In a way, E Sharp's video for 'O Shabana' had that as well while Tamaasha's sci-fi loaded 'Roshni' video showed that in a more epic context.
The song itself is as good as when we heard it in BotB Season 4, containing their signature blend of eastern and rock. Shout out to the drummer for really delivering though!
