Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa are pairing up for Nabeel Qureshi's upcoming film
Mahira Khan has signed her next film.
After Superstar, the actor is now set to appear in Nabeel Qureshi's upcoming feature film, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. She will star alongside Fahad Mustafa, who we might as well call the Johnny Depp to Qureshi's Tim Burton.
Khan took to Twitter to confirm the news.
Khan previously worked with Qureshi and Mustafa in Actor-in-Law where she had a cameo. This is the first time she will star as a protagonist for a Nabeel and Fizza production.
Talking to Images, Qureshi revealed: "Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad is a cop story, along the same lines of our film, Actor-in-Law; you can say it's from the same universe. Both Mahira and Fahad have very interesting characters."
The filmmaker had revealed Fahad Mustafa as the lead a month ago, saying, "He’s a good actor. He works hard. We have a great working relationship."
About Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, producer Fizza Ali Meerza had said, "It’s an entertainer, packed with action, drama and comedy."
Knowing Filmwala Producton's work, we're already excited for what's in store for us. The film is set to release on Eid-ul-Azha 2020.
