After 2017's Chupan Chupai, Ahsan Khan has signed on to a new film.
The actor will be next seen in Parde Mein Rehne Do which according to the actor, "is a 100% entertainment film."
Speaking to Images, Khan revealed that the film is being made "by the same team that made Chupan Chupai."
"Mohsin Ali is the writer and director and Zayed Sheikh is the producer. The rest of the cast isn't finalised yet though, I only signed it a few days back. They have a few names and options that they are in talks with though."
According to Khan, "It may be a romantic comedy but there’s a huge social message also hidden in the story and I think that social message has never been touched upon before on television or film ever."
The actor also disclosed that he did have a few offers on the table but it was Parde Mein Rehne Do that got his attention.
"I feel that it'll be very enjoyable. The script is so captivating that when I was listening to Mohsin narrate it, I was so hooked. It’s going to be fun. I like the idea, I like the concept, I like the dialogues and I like the story."
While the film is in pre-production, Khan claims, "In a few days [I think] we’ll be revealing [more details]. The producer and director will be unveiling the full cast and we’ll have the press release or something. We plan to start the shooting for the film in a few months."
