Alhamra's latest play is an Agatha Christie murder mystery adaptation
The Lahore Arts Council (LAC) in collaboration with Aks Theatre staged a play, titled Jaal, at Alhamra on Monday.
The play will be staged for two more days – Oct 8 and 9.
Directed by Afzaal Nabi, Jaal is an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s famous novel, And Then There Were None, about a murder mystery wherein 10 people were invited to an island for a weekend.
Although they all harbour a secret, they remain unsuspecting until they begin to die one by one.
Jaal is a perfect combination of thrill and mystery, turning out to be a treat for theatre lovers.
Sarfraz Ansari, Zohaib Haider, Zaheer Taj, Zoya Qazi, Aisha Shahkeel, Hassan Raza, Gulshan Majid, Sultan, Aman Chaudhry, Azeem Noor and Imran Armani showcased their immense talent and received a huge applause.
LAC Executive Director Athar Ali Khan congratulated all performers for their extraordinary participation and hard work. He said it was important to provide similar opportunities to the youth to showcase their talent.
