Prime Minister Imran Khan minced no words calling out the Narendra Modi-led Indian government for its actions in Kashmir at the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York yesterday.

Pakistanis on Twitter were all praise for the PM and our celebs loved it too!

PM Imran’s former teammate and bestie Wasim Akram sent out his support with #ThankYouSkipper

Bowler Hassan Ali said, “Pakistan is blessed with such a strong leader”.

Mehwish Hayat called the prime minister’s speech “awe inspiring”.

Of course Hamza Ali Abbasi had to give his two cents.

I am a british Pakistani living abroad, I felt proud that finally Pakistan was being represented by a honest, eloquent and visionary leaders. He has restored pakistan ‘s image around the world.
