Pakistani celebrities express sorrow over Abid Ali's tragic demise

Tributes started pouring in from the entertainment industry when news of his passing was confirmed.

Senior actor, Abid Ali passed away last night in Karachi due to a liver disease. He was 67.

The news was confirmed by one of his three daughters, Rahma Ali on Facebook:

Very sad to hear sudden demise of great Abid Ali sahib. What a great actor he was. A legend of the legends has left us by leaving great hollow in this industry. He was Pakistan TV superstar and will be remembered as a great contributor to the TV industry. A very fine actor whose legacy has inspired millions of people around the world. May he rest in peace.
