Thespianz Folk Festival will be celebrating all things sufi in Khairpur

From folk jams to horse dances, the four-day festival will have it all

Sufa fans and folk-music lovers can start gearing up for Thespianz Foundation's first Sufi festival.

The Thespianz Folk Festival will be featuring renowned artists and performance artists from the Sufi/ Folk-music world including the likes of Wahid Allan Faqir, Jamshed Sabri Brothers, Krishan Laal Bheel, Ghora (horse) Dance group from Multan and vlogger Irfan Junejo.

The four-day program will include folk jams, horse dances, Cholistani thari, qawwali performances, Pakistan provincial presentation through dance, qissa khuwani bazaar, sachal sung kalaams of Sachal Sarmast and much more.

Thespianz believes, "The festival will be a gathering of unique artists at one place, in order to celebrate peace, diersity and acceptance."

The event is all set to take place on September 19 to September 22 at Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai University, Khairpur.

All the best and good luck for festival at Khairpur. A big Punjab Festival should also come in Kartarpur, soon after its opening in November 2019. And prior to that the relations with India be normalize through fast track diplomacy.

My congratulations to the Organisers of the colourful Sufi Festival by the Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai University Khairpur. Sufism is in the culture of the technicolour Province of Sindh.

It is a wonderful initiative whoever took this either Thespianz or SALU. I would like to congratulate the organizers to initiate bringing such well-known personalities to interior Sindh
