The Crown's third season is ready to release in November

Here is everything we know about the upcoming season so far

Even though Netflix announced that the third season of the show would be out in the latter half of this year, they hadn't shared a date.

Actor Tobias Menzies who is taking on the role of Prince Philip from Matt Smith, let it slip in a radio interview on Jo Good's BBC that "We shot season three and that starts in November".

For the upcoming season, the entire cast has been tweaked and changed by the production house with Oscar-winner Olivia Colman taking over the role of Queen Elizabeth II.

Alongside this change, Josh O'Connor is reportedly playing Prince Charles while Helena Bonham Carter will be playing the fiery Princess Margaret. Jason Watkins will be playing the Prime Minister of the UK, Harold Wilson, from the time-frame this season's based on.

According to Emerald Fennell, who is playing the role of young Camilla Parker Bowles, "What's really great about it, though, is that there's absolutely nothing about young Camilla".

"There's two pictures. She was very private, and what we're dealing with in the new season is her relationship with Charles that predated her marriage, and predated his marriage by decades, I think." she added.
