Shaan is angry at Shahrukh Khan for dubbing Lion King in Hindi

Shaan Shahid is really upset with Shah Rukh Khan and it's about The Lion King.

It was announced 2 weeks ago that SRK would be dubbing Mufasa in the upcoming reboot. He recently posted a glimpse of the movie featuring Aryan Khan on twitter.

Were we surprised that The Lion King's Hindi dub reveal featured SRK so prominently? Yes, even James Earl Jones didn't get this kinda spotlight. But Shaan was upset and for a bigger reason, questioning the point to a Hindi dub of the film?

Writes Shaan, "Please don't destroy an iconic film with [a] Hindi dub. No difference in Shah Rukh's voice, it's like any other voice over he does for his films. At least change your voice expression for a lion's dub."

He adds, "James Earl Jones must be laughing. What Shah Rukh failed to understand if that the characters in the film are sketched according to the dubbing artists facial expressions... if you see Simba he resembles Matthew Brodrick."

Sounds like Shaan is angrier at SRK for the dub than the dub itself. Oh well, he can still enjoy the original reboot when it releases July 19.

Shaan...there is huge fan base of right from kids to old age people... who will enjoy the film in native language...it would be a huge marketing boost if the likes of amitabh bacchan and srk would do voice over for such movies...and it is surely likes of us to decide who gets the opportunity to do v/o ..
