Director Ramish Rizvi's new drama serial, Jhooti will feature Ahmed Ali Butt and Iqra Aziz together for the very first time!

While speaking to Images, the Jawani Phir Nahe Aani actor revealed some details about the upcoming serial.

According to Butt, he plays "Nasir, a middle-class working man who gets married to a compulsive liar played by the talented Iqra Aziz. The story goes much deeper into their relationship, of her character and how everything and everyone gets affected by her behaviour."

This intense drama will "explore the character of Iqra and her compulsive lying behavior. There are some major shockers in the play and how my character is impacted by them."

"The play is about a typical Pakistani girl and how she dreams of a better life. However, the route she takes is based on the web of lies", he added. .

The play is written by Ali Moeen and features prominent actors like Asma Abbas, Yasir Hussain and Madia Rizvi to name a few. No release date has been announced yet.

While the 41-year-old actor is mostly known for his comic roles, let's see what he has to offer in Jhooti.
