Avengers Endgame is returning to cinemas with additional footage
The Avengers have a new mission and that is to dethrone Avatar as the all-time worldwide box-office champ.
During the Spider-Man: Far From Home press junket, Marvel chief Kevin Feige revealed that Avengers: Endgame is making its way back to cinemas and this time the audience will have to stay yet again for some post credit surprises.
Feige clarified that the re-release is "not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend."
As of now, Endgame is $44 million away from matching Avatar's record. Will the re-release close the gap? We shall wait and see.
Avengers: Endgame re-releases on June 28, just a few days before Far from home.
