Sushmita Sen is gearing up for her comeback

The star confirmed the news on Instagram and fans cannot contain their excitement.

Remember when Sushmita Sen revealed she's possibly working on a Netflix project?

Seems like it's finally underway.

The Bollywood star is making a comeback after a long hiatus and she hasn't aged a day since her heydays. Sen posted on Instagram, "Makeup, hair, lights & that mirror made of antique glass. ROUND TWO...I prep for my return to class!!!"

And fans are extremely excited. One wrote, "'At 43 you begin.' You are truly a queen." Another said, "Can’t wait to see you in this new chapter of life! More power to you. Keep inspiring. Much love."

Sen is right when she says that her fans have patiently and eagerly been awaiting her return to the screen. She was last seen in Indian Bengali drama Nirbaak (2015).

The actor has yet to disclose details of the project.

Though Sushmita is far better than Katrina regarding acting skills, yet both of them prove the fact that mere 'good looks' wont guaranttee your success. Vidhya Balan has certainly made more inroads than the above two.

Ageism is real in Bollywood. Past 30 roles dry up for women. Sushmita Sen, however talented, will most likely not get a comeback. Neither will Rami Mukherjee ot Aishwarya Rai. Times have changed. Many new and young faces.

@Asifnaqvi that's an insult. Sushmita unlike Katrina can act. Katrina is a pretty face who rules bollywood. That hurt shows how superficial their show biz is. Actors don't have to be able to act. Just mesmerize audience with beauty. I actually like Sushmita Sen but realistically roles dry up once you hit 30. She is past 40 and there are many many new fades that I doubt she can have a comeback. Same for Rani MUKHERJEE who is very talented. You make a choice. Take timeout to have a family or stay active and compete with people 10-12 yrs young than you. They should be content with their lives.
