Sania Mirza congratulates Pakistan's 'unpredictable' cricket team

"Congratulations to Team Pakistan on bouncing back and being as unpredictable as always," wrote the Indian tennis player
04 Jun, 2019

After a disappointing opening match, Pakistan's win against England Monday night was a much-needed lift-me-up.

Like Indian tennis player Sania Mirza aptly puts it: "Congratulations to Team Pakistan on bouncing back the way they did and being as unpredictable like it always is !!! @cricketworldcup got more interesting than it already was."

Not going to lie, now we're fully invested... just like Shireen Mazari...

and Shaniera Akram.

But just in case you still don't know how happy we are, let Zainab Abbas show you.

or this guy...

or even Shaan Shahid, so giddy we stop making sense!

Because we never truly know when the match will turn around in our favour.

Are we a good team? Are we a bad team? Nobody knows.

As long as we keep receiving these wins as Eid presents, we'll take it. We'll definitely take it.

I don't understand why people go gaga over unpredictable teams. You can support but prepare your mind for unpredictable losses also..

@Kaleeswaran AV for docile like you to understand, unpredictable here means that the guys play blow capacity but when they do the results are obvious even the best of best in WC had to suffer defeat.

Laws of physics defied yet again. Pakistan stuns the much revered English team. Respect for centurions Root and Buttler.

We always want a good game of cricket, a win is always a bonus but play well and go down fighting and no one will utter a bad word for the team but will stand by it.

The fact that randomness and zero consistency is celebrated in Pakistan speaks to its national culture, where process, efficiency, method, and delivery are alien concepts - pretty much what the modern world stands on.

Why do these people go and live in England when they support England's opponents but make fun of them. Just imagine people celebrating Indian or Bangladeshi victory against Pakistan on the street streets of Lahore. This is definitely not good.
