Salman Khan says he wants kids but not their mother
Salman Khan is one of Bollywood's most mysterious bachelors.
At 53, the actor is single and thriving but obviously, people just can't stop asking him questions about marriage and children. While we empathise, Khan's response had us scratching our heads.
In a recent interview with India today, the Bharat actor opened up about wanting to start a family but without a woman: “I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don’t want the mother but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone,” he shared.
Sooo...who's going to tell him that's not how it works?
While being a single parent is totally fine and the actor could be hinting at surrogacy/adoption, we still think it's a crass statement to make; women are not just baby-making machines and to dismiss them as such is highly disrespectful. Like one Twitter user said:
