Load Wedding won our hearts with its important message on dowry and that message is making rounds all around the globe.

Speaking to Images, director Nabeel Qureshi revealed that the film has made its way to China and will be opening the Asian Film and TV Week Festival on May 17.

"Load Wedding is opening the Asian Film and TV week festival in Guanghzou on May 17 and is also screening in Beijing on May 18. It's screening among many other popular films from the region, including Dangal, Children of Heaven and Taare Zameen Par."

Both the director and producer Fizza Ali were present today at the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilisations, "which was hosted by the Chinese president Mr. Xing Ping Jing."

The event was attended by the likes of Aamir Khan and Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi and you know our duo couldn't resist taking a few pictures with them.

"Obviously we're very happy, it's a big thing for us to be opening the festival [with Load Wedding] and representing Pakistan this way," said the director.
