It's been ten years to Zack Snyder's Watchmen a movie way ahead of its time and a turning point for superhero movies.

It definitely seems like the perfect time for HBO to drop their teaser for the upcoming series based on Alan Moore's series.

So far we don't see any of the iconic characters we've come to know and love from Watchmen's universe such as Rorschach and Ozymandias but we're excited to see what's in store for us.

Damon Lindelof had earlier posted a disclaimer on his Instagram about the show being very different from the comics and the world Alan Moore had created, saying, "We have no desire to ‘adapt’ the twelve issues Mr. Moore and Mr. Gibbons created thirty years ago... Those issues are sacred ground and they will not be retread nor recreated nor reproduced nor rebooted."

"Those original twelve issues are our Old Testament. When the New Testament came along it did not erase what came before it. Creation. The Garden of Eden. Abraham and Isaac. The Flood. It all happened. And so it will be with Watchmen. The Comedian died. Dan and Laurie fell in love. Ozymandias saved the world and Dr. Manhattan left it just after blowing Rorschach to pieces in the bitter cold of Antarctica."

We do see references to the Comedian and Ozymandias in the teaser and while we're iffy at the thought of pulling away from the source material, we're choosing to be optimistic about the show.

Marvel may be good with their movies but DC is always got that intense TV Series, first Doom Patrol now Watchmen, specially the reveal of Comedian's badge, that is the reference of epic crossover arc between Watchmen and Justice League, thats just simple awesome.
