We knew there were going to be some celeb appearances. So far we've spotted Aamina Sheikh, Ali Kazmi and Ahmed Ali Akbar

Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan are back in their upcoming movie, Heer Maan Ja’s teaser!

While the preview isn’t exactly laugh out loud funny, it does have its moments. And there’s no deying Ali and Hareem have onscreen chemistry together. The duo has a long-standing working relationship so they’ve clearly figured out their groove.

The movie’s dubbed to be a rom-com but it seems it might be more of an action comedy. We’re going to wait for the trailer before jumping to conclusions though; even at nearly two minutes long, this wasn’t enough for us to figure out what’s going on especially with Aamina Sheikh’s character; some other stars making cameos are Laal Kabootar's Ahmed Ali Akbar and Ali Kazmi.

In an earlier conversation with Images, Hareem revealed a little about her character: "In Heer Maan Ja I will be seen portraying the role of Heer who is a textile designer with a sweet soul."

While Ali's character is slightly different. "I play a guy named Kabir who is super confident and a go-getter. He does what he feels is right and gets what he wants. The only thing is that he constantly runs into bad luck which adds to a continuous struggle to balance a perfect life - that's what made this character really enjoyable to play."

Heer Maan Ja has been directed by Azfar Jafri and produced by IRK Films and Arif Lakhani Films. We've haven't seen a quintessential Pakistani rom-com in a while so here’s hoping the actual movie has more romance than the teaser; the flick hits cinemas on Eid-ul-Azha 2019.

Pretty horrible. Not looking forward to this. Also heard the PR Team has created fake profiles on social media that's creating fake hype and insterest over the trailer. Sad.

That guy (hero) has zero expressions or acting skills...seems like he is being forced to act or considers himself too good to be in this movie. The level of comedy is at best teenage and the casting besides the couple of main characters is mediocre. How people get money to spend on such experiments while genuine talent is ignored is uncomprehending.
