Aagha Ali and Resham isn't exactly a pairing we would've imagined but it seems like the audience is liking the duo in their latest drama, Muthi Bhar Chahat currently airing on Express TV.

Talking to Images, Ali shared, "It was lovely working with Resham, who plays a lawyer in the series. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember and sharing the screen space with her was amazing."

"My character in the show is very interesting; he's an angry young man, a landlord called Chaudhry Hashim. His family in the village is well-respected, people listen to their word. Lots of things will unfold as the story moves forward but one key thing about him is that he's an extremely just person," Ali says, elaborating on his role.

"I was a little disappointed when I heard it was going to be playing on Express, I thought a lot of people won't watch it but right after the first episode, the feedback was so overwhelming. At least all my fans watched it and loved it so that was a relief for me," he added.

Elaborating on the plot, Resham revealed, "Agha's character and I meet and gradually fall in love. Then a case comes into my life in which I’m against his brother which puts me in a really tough spot."

She was also all praise for her co-star: "Agha was a big part of why I did this serial; I’m a little senior in the industry than him and I want to learn from new people. I had a really fun time, we've got really moving dialogues, some heart-warming romantic scenes. I hope people enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed shooting it."

Muthi Bhar Chahat has been directed and produced by Zaib Chaudhry and written by Suraj Baba.
