Leading vocalist of band Prodigy, Keaith Flint has passed away.
The singer was found dead in his home is Essex. He was 49 years old.
Flint provided vocals for Prodigy's most notable songs such as 'Breathe' and 'Firestarter' once he went from dancer to frontman for the band - originally formed by Liam Howlett - in 1996. He had been a prominent figure in UK's music scene since 1990.
So far, there has been no update on Flint's cause of death. The Guardian reports an Essex police spokesman confirming that, "We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday.”
“We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Fans and fellow musicians have shared their grief over the tragic news since it broke out.
