Twitter reviewed the PSL opening ceremony — and it did not hold back

Let's just say it was a love-hate relationship

Pakistan Super League is one of Pakistan's most celebrated events of the year, which explains why emotions are so vested in it.

The PSL Opening Ceremony took place in Dubai last night and Twitter wasn't won over by it. Performances by world famous Boney M - who performed Daddy Cool, Aima Baig and Shuja Haider, Junoon, who performed Jazba Junoon, and Fawad Khan seemed to have missed a mark for many.

The one thing fans did enjoy were the fireworks. Here's what Twitter really thinks:

Took too long. Match should have started 8pm UAE time, 4pm UK time. Not only that during the match sound cut out when graphics appeared.

Performance by singers was very poor but overall ceremony, fireworks etc was perfect

PSL 2019 anthem was not impressive & frankly speaking in should have been sung by a regular & popular singer, there is no dearth of good singers in Pakistan. Rest was okay & the fire works was good.
