Wondered what happened to Harley Quinn after The Joker rescued her in Suicide Squad?
Looks like she finally realised she deserves better as the teaser for Birds of Prey has made its way online and Harley's got a whole new wardrobe.
Margot Robbie had earlier teased the title of the film as Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn, hinting that the villain will finally part ways with the clown prince of crime with whom she has been in a physically and mentally abusive relationship.
But in case you're wondering about the rest of the cast, we got you covered! The teaser shows snippets of other characters owning their iconic traits. We see the crossbow of the Huntress, a shadow of a woman with teased hair drinking that could either be the second Black Canary or Renee Montoya, a cop who later takes up the mantle of The Question.
The rest of the cast is introduced in a sped up montage but from what we know about the film, Cassandra Cain's Batgirl and villain Blackmask (played by Ewan McGregor) also star. However, both characters aren't shown in their iconic garb in the teaser, making us wonder if Birds of Prey will be an origin story for most.
The teaser simply says "see you soon," implying an official trailer is on its way. The film itself is slated for release February 7, 2020.
