PSL 2019's anthem is finally out. Did Fawad Khan do it justice?
Pakistan Super League is incomplete without its musical anthem; it envitably becomes the soundtrack of the following cricket season.
Produced by Shuja Haider, this year, we've got Fawad Khan singing the official song titled 'Khel Deewano Ka' featuring Young Desi (the first three PSL anthems were sung by Ali Zafar) and can we just say, we're so glad they decided to switch things up!
As is the case with most of these anthems, we didn't really like it at first but the more we listened to it, the more it grew on us and hey, it doesn't hurt that the video's a fun one! However, Fawad's singing aside, we did feel it was missing a little oomph factor, perhaps it was just a lot more tamer than we expected.
PSL's grand opening ceremony is scheduled for 14 February 2019 and The Dubai International Stadium will see a star-studded line-up that includes Fawad, Pitbull, Junoon, Aima Baig and Shuja Haider to name a few.
