Were you surprised at the Once Upon A Deadpool trailer? We sure were and we loved it.

The Princess Bride inspiration, the presence of actor Fred Savage being a major throwback to the bedtime story troupe and Deadpool, being Deadpool, having kidnapped Savage in the first place to replay his fantasy of the classic genre for Christmas. It's all comedy gold!

But comic book artist/writer Michael Vincent Bramley was not at all surprised at this idea, seeing as he came up with it.

Last year in December, Bramley took to Twitter to give a kooky idea for a Deadpool PG13 movie, should Disney, upon acquiring the character from 20th Century Fox, make that requirement for Deadpool to be in the MCU.

Just for kicks, watch the trailer again after reading that.

Bramley, a comic book writer/artist himself, was not aware of the impact of his tweet even when the PG13 film was announced in September.

Bramley did take to Twitter recently after seeing the trailer to point out the uncanny coincidence that the makers of Deadpool had the exact same idea as him down to the T.

Reynolds has not yet commented on the matter and Bramley claims in further posts that he does not bear a grudge against the actor, but acknowledgement should be given where it's due.

For Bramley to not take this to heart and be positive about it all is admirable and we really hope Ryan Reynolds reaches out to him for the recognition he deserves.

Seriously though, don't people get paid for such plots and ideas? And with such a genius one that has us in laughing fits, why isn't anyone hiring this man? Step up Hollywood!
