If you thought the Sialkot wedding was a one-off, think again.

Case in point: 23-year-old Mohsin from Lahore and 19-year-old Maria from the US, who tied the knot in Lahore yesterday just days after hitting each other up on social media.

According to the couple, Mohsin and Maria got to know each other on social media, and it was love at first DM. While it's fascinating that the two met on social media while thousands of miles apart, what's even more interesting is that within a few days, Mohsin popped the question and Maria said okay, flying to Lahore to get hitched.

According to the report, Maria is very eager to take Mohsin back to America with her.

Ah, the internet, what has it not done for the world?

Reminds me of Penny and i. We got married in 1998 though. social media was not a thing then though. however i was at lahore and she was at Atlanta, US. i have enjoyed every single minute of my marriage for last 20 years.. i do hope these couples enjoy too. And i know they will find lots of success in America like we did..
