When Indian actor Tanushree Dutta alleged that Nana Patekar harassed her on their film's set a decade ago, she also shared that her decision to walk away from that set was met by bullying tactics by the film's producers.

Soon after, video evidence, reportedly from 2008, emerged that showed a mob attacking Dutta's car while she was seated in it.

Dutta says this wasn't the only brush with mob intimidation that she's endured.

In an interview with Times of India, she said, "There are more footages that you can dig out where the MNS party [Maharashtra Navnirman Sena] has come out and threatened that they would kick me out of the city and industry. They accused me of hurting the pride of Maharashtra. They had implicated themselves by accepting responsibility. I am awaiting those footages to resurface as well."

Nana Patekar is a Bollywood veteran who belongs to a Maratha family from Murud Janjira, Maharashtra.

“MNS is not just a party. It's an ideology like Al-Qaeda or ISIS. You can be anybody,” she said.

In another interview with ANI, Dutta says that she's still getting threats from MNS: ""MNS party in an interview given to a leading daily has threatened me with a violent attack... This on top of other threats issued to me from Nana's side."

She thanked the Mumbai Police for offering her protection.
