Thugs of Hindostan's trailer is a treat to watch
There's plenty of action for everyone!
Set in the 18th century when the East India Company ruled over the subcontinent, the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan depicts a war between one local named Khudabaksh aka Azaad, played by Amitabh Bachchan (and his army of pirates) and the British enslavers.
The trailer's packed with action and keeps you hooked till the end.
Granted it's got a bit of Pirates of the Caribbean feels but it works! Aamir Khan who had a face-off with the British in Lagaan, goes rogue in Thugs of Hindostan and plays a British snitch Firangi Mallah who backstabs Amitabh. Tsk.
The best part about the trailer is how badass Azaad's right-hand, played by Fatima Sana Shaikh, is. The woman's got some serious skill and moves. No damsel in distress here!
Featuring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the film looks promising - because the trailer has been so far!
Thugs of Hindostan will release on November 8.
