Preity Zinta is making a Bollywood comeback with Bhaiaji Superhit
Preity Zinta has pretty much been laying low since her move and marriage in the States. But guess what, she's ready for her filmi comeback!
The Dil Chahta Hai announced her upcoming film Bhaiaji Superhit on Twitter:
Bhaiaji Superhit is an action comedy that stars Zinta as a small-town girl named Sapna Dubey who happens to be a gangster's wife. The gangster, played by Sunny Deol in a double role for the first time, seeks stardom on the big screen. As he tries to set about making his dream come true, Zinta keeps herself occupied by copying the style and airs of an actress she admires.
In a Twitter chat with fans, Preity opened about her role in the film and said, “Yes it was tough as it was a different dialect and a different vibe. All these years I was offered very modern roles so it was nice to be challenged with a hyper active #SapnaDubey and I must confess I loved being her.”
The film was first announced in 2011 but has suffered extensive delays due to budget issues, dates inavailability and internal conflicts. The film is finally confirmed for release on October 19.
The film has been directed by Neerraj Pathak.
