Shan Foods' campaign #KhaanaWithParosi, developed with Ogilvy Pakistan, has secured a silver award in the food category at the APAC Effie Awards 2018 held in Singapore.

What is the Effie Award?

The Asia Pacific Effie Awards acknowledge and celebrate effective marketing communications developed across the region. These are organized by the Confederation of Asian Advertising Agency Associations (CAAAA) and Tenasia Group.

The Award is a prominent global platform where being recognsed amongst thousands of submissions from around the globe is an unprecedented achievement, and Shan Foods is Pakistan’s first brand to have achieved this.

The #KhaanaWithParosi campaign

The campaign touched upon the insight of building and nurturing relationships by encouraging a habit of sharing.

The ad shows a woman adjusting to a new life in the city of Lahore, and sharing a traditional Pakistani meal in an attempt to break barriers and win hearts in the neighbourhood.

The campaign coincided with the onset of the CPEC arrangement involving the development of an economic corridor with China in Pakistan.

The TVC unseated various celebrated campaigns across Pakistan on social and traditional media.
