Foodpanda's Eid campaign is out and here's what we think

The brand shows us how important it is to acknowledge those working tirelessly through Eid to get us the food we love

Foodpanda is our go-to option for most food delivery problems, and it looks like the app is celebrating Eid this year with an interesting campaign.

For foodpanda, this Eid is all about celebrating real heroes who work effortlessly in the background while we get our favourite food delivered on our doorstep. This includes riders, chefs, waiters, and call center staff who stay on the job all throughout Eid, away from their families and friends.

Here's a look at the greeting card that came in our mail:

Let's find out what we're learning out of the foodpanda campaign this Eid.

1. A little appreciation goes a long way

Let's admit it, a little note of encouragement is all we need to feel motivated towards the work that we do. A little you're great at your job! or this couldn't have been possible without you is a such a great way of putting a smile on someone's face. And how hard is it really?

This Eid foodpanda is appreciating everyone, particularly those who tirelessly run around town or make a billion calls just to get our food to us on time. And we're supporting it all.

2. Sometimes it's the effort that matters

How difficult is it to recognise the hard work that someone puts in to get the job done? We're all for giving credit where it's due and this Eid we're appreciating the efforts of everyone part of Pakistan's food delivery industry trying their best to get us the food we order.

3. We're all human at the end of the day

Nobody likes staying at work during the festive season when our families and friends are dressing up, meeting people and sharing happiness.

The best way to celebrate Eid is to make everyone around us happy. How about wishing the call center staff a happy Eid when you reach out to them for order queries? Or how great would it feel if we tell someone that it's okay when our food is a little late?

4. Happiness only multiplies when it's shared

How about sharing food, hugs or presents with people all around you this Eid?

Foodpanda is appreciating not only heroes of the foodpanda family but also people from the entire restaurant industry who work day and night to share with us piping hot delicacies from around town during the festive days.

Watch how they do it all in this video:

As part of the campaign, foodpanda sends out Eid cards to customers and makes special greeting calls to half a million customers nationwide.
