Filmfare reports that Kapoor will finally be reuniting with BFF and filmmaker Karan Johar for a film, which will be helmed by Raj Mehta and will see Kareena taking on the role of a mother.

Confirming the same, a source close to the actress shared: “Karan wanted Kareena to do a film with Dharma for the longest time. Right after Ki & Ka, there were talks of her acting in a movie under KJo’s banner. But that had to be deferred because of her pregnancy."

The story will reportedly revolve around two couples, one that has been married for years and the other being newlyweds; the movie is scheduled to start shooting late this year, in November.
