We know Ramazan is around the corner, and if you want to know how close it is, let's just say the teaser for first Ramazan OST is out!

Momina Mustehsan has sung 'Ye Mamla Koi Aur Hai' for Geo TV's Ramazan transmission and the video is directed by Karachi Se Lahore director Wajahat Rauf.

In the teaser released by Rauf, we see Momina singing the chorus of the Najam Sheraz classic:

Momina's 2017 Ramazan OST went viral overnight, so we think this might be a hit too. Do you think she does justice to the song? Share your views in the comments below.

So Ramadan is almost upon us, Al hamdu lillah, and the first representation to the public of thus holy month: A beautiful girl, dressed in an equally beautiful suit ( no doubt designer), a dupatta placed strategically to show off her perfected blowed dried hair.... and the back drop! well what can I say, doesnt everyone in pakistan look out if their window every morning to this splendour?. For Gods sake, people, keep some things sacred. You cant tell whether this is a ramadan naat or an OST for hugely awaited drama serial. The people of pakistan will be fasting in some of the hottest recorded temperatures in recent times. There will be power cuts, incomes of some workers will be lower as certain things will not be needed during this holy month. But hey, we will look at how wonderful momina mustehsen looks and where she is, and that will make us realise the true essence of this month... cashing in on ramadan.

A feeling najam showed and produced, when he sang this, is entirely missing by Momina.

Does the holy month of Ramzan need an OST? Do you really need those holier than thou ramzan tv transmissions to ignite an atmosphere of piety? For the past few years it has become a commercial month
