Bharat is the quintessential Bollywood movie, says Priyanka Chopra
It's finally happening: there's been talk for years about Priyanka returning to Bollywood and we finally have it confirmed that Salman Khan-starrer Bharat will be her comeback movie after a hiatus of almost three years.
Is she as excited as her fans? Sounds like it!
"Bharat is the quintessential Bollywood movie, which I haven’t done in many years. A lot of them were dramatic and thematic. This one’s going to be out and out entertainment. I’m excited! I haven’t been back to do a movie in two or three years now.”
About the Hollywood projects she recently wound up, she said, “I’ve finished two films: A Kid Like Jake, which comes out in June. And Isn’t it Romantic, which comes out Valentine’s Day 2019. (In the latter) I play a spoiled rich woman who is a yoga guru."
Priyanka will also be seen in the third season of Quantico, which she is currently shooting in Italy. She's rumoured to begin shooting for Bharat in August.
