Irrfan Khan's spokesperson wants you to leave the actor alone.

Ever since the actor broke news of his illness, social media has been a buzz with his health. It's also full of trolls who're posting rumours of his condition and spreading them like wildfire, the most recent being that the Piku star's health has deteriorated and he's entered the last stage of cancer.

Hindustan Times reported that Irrfan's spokesperson has called out the rumours, explaining that the actor has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour and is undergoing treatment in the UK.

He said in a statement, "This latest round of news being spread through social media in the last few days about Irrfan’s health is absolutely false and there’s no truth to it whatsoever. We, as his family and friends, again request the members of the media to continue their support and the prayers that have come Irrfan’s way. However it’s not right to spread rumours through mediums of social media without a fact check or any official validation. In the meanwhile once again we request everyone to refrain from picking up social media statuses as affirmative developments on someone’s health."

How 'bout we stop killing off people just for likes and wish 'em well instead? They need the prayers.
