Frieha Altaf apologises for "hurting anyone's feelings" following Insta story backlash
Frieha Altaf has landed herself in trouble after her latest Insta story went viral on social media.
The former model was at the airport earlier this week when she snapped photos of passengers and judged their sartorial taste.
According to one Insta user, Frieha "made a video of the woman in red while walking behind her saying 'So it's been a long time since we've seen a waistcoat on anybody. Except a Qawwal.'"
She messaged Frieha, calling her out for bullying others and using her power irresponsibly, especially given her fan following, and wrote: "for people asking why this is an important issue to address, ridiculing comes under bullying and as a victim of bullying I know its harmful lifelong after effects. We do not consider bullying an issue worth fighting for but in reality it's absolutely important to address it and curb it. If an influencer with a following of plus 100000 ridicules, it's sets a precedent that it's okay to do so."
The media mogul removed her story following the backlash and issued an apology on Twitter saying, "I'm sorry if I have inadvertently hurt anyone's feelings. It was not my intent."
Frieha also clarified that the pictures of the woman on her Insta story were not meant as an invasion of privacy as she "took a selfie" with her.
