Are Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor teaming up for a period drama?
Sanjay Dutt is all set to star with Arjun Kapoor.
The two will join Mohenjo Daro director Ashutosh Gowariker for an upcoming war historical film.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Arjun Kapoor will play the lead while Sanjay Dutt will have a crucial role in the film.
According to sources, “Last week, Sanjay and Arjun had a long meeting with Ashutosh at his Khar office and the trio locked the details of the project. The script is in its final stages of fine-tuning and recce has been underway for the last few months.”
The source claims that while Arjun has been chosen recently, the director wanted to work with Dutt, having disclosed last year that he was writing a role keeping him in mind.
The film will be set between the 16th and 18th centuries and will focus on three extensive real-life battles.
Mumbai Mirror also speculates the possibility of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara playing the female lead opposite Arjun. The actor, who will be making her debut in Kedernath, was spotted at Ashutosh's office. The director was also seen on set the sets of Kedernath, so this just might be happening.
There is little information regarding this yet-to-be-titled project. But it is expected to go on floors pretty soon.
