Shashi K & Amitabh B were the best combination in the late 70’s to 80’s. In fact, the Kapoor’s are connected to the Bachan’s through marriage. “Bollywood Godfather’s”. Didn’t want to use the “M” word.

Shashi kapoor was really an actor beyond BW . The movies he produced were really western types of story telling, real ,complex characters, films for educated types! He was ahead of his time! The commercial films he did ,he really was very effortless charming and handsome actor ,with that flirting smile, it was easy to see why actresses heart melts when he smile! His work will live on in films! May he enjoy the ultimate stage ,peace!

Shashi Kapoor was the most handsome of all the Kapoors, but his acting was lack luster. he was never awarded any Filmfare awards, and he did not mix with most indians. His acting in 'Jinnah', of Pakistan, was somewhat constrained, and he had gained weight and was fat as an elephant. His delivery was nothing compared with Christopher Lee, who was in the main role.
