Bollywood makes it to Variety's 500 most influential list
Priyanka Chopra and Ekta Kapoor are the two women to make it to the list from India

Variety's 500 Most Influential Entertainment Leaders and Icons list is out] and Bollywood has made quite a mark. Actors Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan have been named along with directors and producers Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor and Aditya Chopra.
Earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra made it to the top 10 on Forbes' World's Highest-Paid TV Actresses list and also Forbes' World's Most Powerful Women List 2017.
Variety's list also includes artistes Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, J-Lo, Adele, renowned chef Gordon Ramsey, actors Tom Hanks and Ben Affleck, writer JK Rowling and more.
