1) When your transport takes the long route

So you're taking a ride that charged by the meter, and where you want to go is 10 minutes away. But suddenly you're seeing a new side to your city because your driver is telling you, "This is a shortcut, baji. There's too much traffic on that road."

And now you're paying double of what you usually pay!

2) When you get "branded" copies online

You just paid for a really cool shirt because hey, a good brand means good quality. But then your shirt arrives and the logo says Polio instead of Polo. No one can make this stuff up!

3) When you buy something on sale for the same price

You know exactly what this means! Imagine buying a top at 50% off. It's still expensive, but hey! At least you got it on discount.

But then you take a long hard look at the store you got it from. Ever notice how some places just always have a sale? Could you have coughed up the original price, with the sale making it seem like you're paying less?

Maybe the product was of good quality and you would've gotten it anyway. But you were definitely looted of that joy of making a smart buy.

4) When you get a limited edition design that can be printed

This one hits real close to home.

So you found a beautiful shirt that is limited edition. You must get it before time runs out.

But the the design looks so familiar... Because there is nothing limited about it! It's a design that floods your search feed when you look it up on Google and you realise you could've had the same top designed from a T-shirt printing factory for a fraction of the cost.

5) When you order a meal that looks different from the picture

This one is especially true for burger joints!

You see this amazing shot of a burger, with a huge patty and bright veggies bursting out and melted cheese that looks magical.

Excitedly, you place an order. But then you get the burger and you might as well have ordered a bun kabab.

You keep thinking "I paid so much for this?" Because let's be honest, you wanted to spoil yourself and this is not what treats looks like! The veggies aren't the same, the portion is small and it just makes you sad.

When food disappoints, that's the worst feeling of looted there is!
