Brace yourselves, a Kit Harrington movie is coming!

Even though Game of Thrones might be nearing it's end, at least we know Kit Harington aka Jon Snow's acting career is sorted for a while.

According to Indian Express, Kit will next be seen in the upcoming BBC historical drama series called Gunpowder, also starring big names like Liv Tyler and Mark Gatiss.

The fast-paced period thriller relates the famous story of the “Gunpowder Plot,” a 17th-century conspiracy to blow up the British House of Lords in an attempt to assassinate King James I.

The actor had previously revealed that he is a descendant of Robert Catesby, the brains behind the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 so it seems like he was the natural fit for the same role.

Gunpowder follows Catesby (Harington) as he struggles as a Catholic man in Protestant England, which was dragging him to the edge of financial, social and psychological ruin.

Other notable actors in the drama series are Peter Mullan, Tom Cullen, Edward Holcroft, Shaun Dooley and Robert Emms.

Harington will also be seen in The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, an upcoming Canadian drama film which is slated for release in January next year. Meanwhile, Gunpowder will air on BBC One in the autumn.
