A customer emailed this CEO for kicks. What dropped back in her inbox was epic!

All we can say is sometimes you SHOULD reply to that promotional email sitting in your inbox.
Updated 25 Jul, 2017

We've all been there - on the receiving end of promotional emails that we are usually not-so-fond to read.

Companies keep flooding your inbox with emails: announcing their jaw dropping discounts and reminding you of the amazing deals you are missing out on.

But if you are like us, you may have too much month at the end of your money.

One such email landed in the inbox of a girl where foodpanda told her that they miss her for she has not been placing any orders lately.

And just for fun, she replied back ranting about the reason:

While personally going through all the responses, this innocent complaint caught the attention of foodpanda’s CEO, Mr. Nauman Sikandar Mirza.

Starting off by thanking the girl for writing him, he gave an interesting list of ideas and suggestions which could help her get some funds from her dad for ordering food online.

The list kept getting cheeky!

The interesting conversation soon became fruitful for the girl.

Let's face it, at the end of the day, your abba is a sweetheart.

And she placed an order to celebrate with the whole family!

The foodpanda CEO sure is cool when it comes to lighting up a customer's day. What do you think?

@Talha why yu want every thing complimentary. Learn to work and teach same to others. your whole country is doing this, running to IMF and others. That is why this is the state of affairs.

This would've made for a genuinely nice story if the girl had posted the exchange and it went viral instead of Foodpanda having to sing it's own praises via paid advertisement.

Very lame. If companies are really concerned about customers they should offer a good loyalty program or some complimentary stuff to motivate a lost buyer rather than giving super genius ideas

Mr. CEO I appreciate the fact that you took time to respond to your customers request. You could have also done the following things: offer her free pizza to get at the store perhaps a job in the marketing or in the store. Mr. CEO be a little creative and innovative think outside the box.

Not interesting at all! Why isn't that GI making food herself. The CEO should have suggested her to move and Cook food herself and serve her family. This lazy culture from burger class of society is contagious and sickening for young generation hooked up yp junk good getting them lethargy and obesity

I like the fact senior management realizes their direct interaction with the end user/customer realizes more benefits than market surveys...

Tired and convoluted. The foodpanda Ceo just wrote a bunch of stories never really providing any promotions. and if this really is paid content, then it could have been done so much better. in fact, this never needed to be an article. You could have seeded it as a facebook post from an anonymous source, given a kicker of a gift to the girl and rejoiced as you earned free facebook points and continued the conversation. Thats how you become the new Wendy's. You had the opportunity and you blew it.
