Cake is a film about family values, shares Hira Hussain
Adnan Malik isn't the only one making his big screen debut with Asim Abbasi's upcoming flick, Cake.
Hira Hussain, the former Veet Miss Super Model contestant will also be seen playing a supporting role in the movie.
"Cake is like Asim's cute, personalized project and I was fortunate enough to land a role in the film," shared Hussain.
"I can't reveal too much about the character I play but I'll talk a little about the premise of the movie. I think in Pakistan and everywhere else too, the most important thing for a person is their family. Cake is a drama about family values and I'm certain everyone's going to love it," she adds.
Talking about her co-stars, Hira shares, "Everyone brings something unique and exciting to the table. Not only has this been a great platform for me but also a tremendous learning opportunity. Shooting with this bunch was so memorable, it just felt like a close-knit family."
Cake has been shot mainly in Karachi, London and parts of Sindh; The family drama also stars Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed in main roles with Faris Khalid and Hira, narrating the story of two sisters. It is slated to release later this year.
