The trailer for 'I Am Heath Ledger' will break your heart
It's been nearly a decade since Heath Ledger's shocking and untimely death but the trailer for the forthcoming documentary, I Am Heath Ledger is still sure to break hearts.
The doc will reveal raw never-before-seen footage from his life and interviews with family, friends, and Hollywood colleagues, including ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts and his sister Kate Ledger.
“Heath was the most alive human,” singer Ben Harper says in the trailer. “And if it wasn’t on the edge, it didn’t interest him.”
“Even as a supporting actor he will steal the whole show,” said Ang, who directed Heath in 2006 film Brokeback Mountain.
“That’s the power of Heath Ledger.”
However, Ledger's former co-star and girlfriend, Michelle Williams and daughter, Matilda are missing from the trailer.
The trailer for the 90-minute documentary is an emotional roller coaster; in several shots, Ledger turns the camera on himself, smiling, making it hard to believe that the superstar is truly gone.
