Chalay Thay Saath's first song is out and it's heart-warming

The soothing vocals in 'Pariyaan' are complemented by beautiful visuals and let's just say the song is a total winner.

And Chalay Thay Saath keeps upping the ante.

We get another glimpse at the upcoming road trip romance movie in 'Pariyaan,' the first song to release from its soundtrack. Let's just say the music's got a light-hearted, jubilant feel to it.

Featuring the cast during their journey up north of Pakistan, the soft music is complemented by beautiful visuals. The two-minute video also touches upon the relationship between Resham (Syra Shahroz) and Adam (Kent S. Leung) and ends with just a shot of Resham crying.

We're guessing we'll see lots of heartbreak (as if the trailer wasn't enough, people!)

The song has been sung by Shahab Hussain, and has been written by Shahab Hussain and Zeeshan Lalani.

The ensemble cast also includes Zhalay Sarhadi, Mansha Pasha, Osama Tahir, Faris Khalid, Shamim Hilaly and Sherbaz Kaleem.

Chalay Thay Saath is a film by Umer Adil and will hit screens on April 21.

@Azhar I noted the same. Rumor has it that an ex-minister was involved in the deforestation to such an extent that entire mountains have become brazen in the whole area.

@Azhar your concerns for a greener Pakistan are genuine. However, they mountains in these pictures had never had any forests on them due to the elevation and dry terrain of Karakorum Range. It is more sort of a scientific and geographical phenomenon than any man made climatic destruction. The treeline in these regions is not more than 3000 meters from sea-level.

The name translates as: "We had walked together", and as the name suggests, it must be a story of flashback. It means, it would be a tragic crying and crying. For what? Pleasure? Entertainment in crying?

@Azhar You are saying so because you have never visited this part of the country. The mountains are rocky and rigid. Rain is less. Trees and human population are only around water sources. The population knows sustainability of the environment and do care about vegetation in particular their trees. Every year new saplings are planted and saved from animals and bitter cold. The young tree's trunks are covered and wrapped with cloth to withstand harsh winters. The trees are not cut but their branches are used. World and probably people from Pennsylvania visit these areas. Come and see it yourself this beautiful place.

@Azhar All the greenery you see in this is man made, not natural. Probably the largest plantation system is only there.. so you need no worry about it

Your review opines that the song is "Heart warming?"To be truthful, this song has neither good lyrics nor a catchy tune, and I do not see it becoming popular. Talking about the movie as a whole, inherent in the basis of the thesis of this movie's narrative is a major faux pas. The idea of a romance between a Chinese guy and a Pakistani gal is neither palatable nor appealing to , forget about the masses and families, even the younger generation of Pakistan. No matter how often and how many Pakistanis keep touting China as "True Friend" or Pakistan's Friend Forever," when it comes to romance and marriage, how many Pakistani girls do you think would opt or consent to pick a Chinese guy? Not many. If you think otherwise take a poll. Not even many American girls would go Chinese. And we have tons of them here, most of them highly educated and with very high paying jobs, yet no cigar.

@azhar The elevation at which trees can no longer grow, also known as a tree line or timberline, is different in various places around the world. For instance, the timberline is at 10,000 feet in many parts of the western United States and as low as 4,500 in eastern states like New Hampshire. Hunza's (city) elevation is 14,000 feet. Mountains are much higher. Yes, Trees and ignorance are abundant in Pennsylvania. Must be in the water.

People like AZHAR & A.A are called ABCD ( American Born Confused Desi ). They should first study terrain and topography of these Karakoram Areas and then throw some philosophy on the topic : ) Hunza people care their green habitat and ecosystem more than europeans or ABCDs like you.

I wrote a comment about this girl syra over the internet once after I saw a short appearance of her on 'ho mann jahan' in which I said she should be given a chance to take a part as leading role in her next feature film.

Music is the weakest part of Pakistani films. Producers and directors should give it special thought. Good songs not only make film successful but also help in marketing by offering songs at various media outlets. Once we start making good popular songs to the films they will be more successful.

As a serious supporter of the new innovative yet still fledgling Pakistani movie industry, produced by a new generation of brilliant directors, actors, etc, I would definitely go see this movie with family and friends. The scenery is surreal, and Gilgit is truly heaven on earth where the locals have genuinely warm open hearts.

Can the majority of Pakistan peoples' conduct and character be as beautiful as its terrain in this short video? If they can, then all their internal problems, both cultural and ecnomical will be eliminited and the terrorboys pushed backed to obliviion.
