Tom Cruise is in the new 'The Mummy' movie and Twitter can't handle the change
Will fans ever accept him taking Brendan Fraser's place?

Let's face it. We all loved The Mummy. The 1999 action-comedy is a childhood favourite for many and the leading man Brendan Fraser has a special place in our hearts.
So, when the trailer of the The Mummy reboot released over the weekend and we found no Brendan but Tom Cruise in his place... well, let's just say not everyone was pleased.
We decided to turn to Twitter to find out if other fans of The Mummy felt the same.
It looks like people really aren't up for a Mummy movie without Brendan Fraser.
And it doesn't have anything to do with Tom Cruise...
Okay, maybe it does...
Some did put their Brendan Fraser bias aside and critiqued the finer points of the trailer.
To be fair, many tried to be positive and give the film a chance.
Maybe if it wasn't titled The Mummy, we'd all be fine!
