As if we weren't already excited for the release of Saba Qamar's Bolly debut film, the release date announcement just upped the ante.

According to Deccan Chronicle, the actor's film Hindi Medium alongside Bollywood star Irrfan Khan is set to release on March 31, 2017.

Speaking to Images in an earlier interview, Saba had gushed over her co-star's acting saying, "I was awestruck by the way Irrfan works, I used to keep looking at him while he delivered his scenes. He's one brilliant actor and a pleasure to work with."

She added, “Bollywood is a whole new ballgame. They [the team] were so very warm and professional. I had an amazing experience working with all of them.”

Saba also said that while shooting for her film in India, she wasn't fettered by the ban or MNS' hostility towards Pakistan and that the team made her "feel very much at home."

Hindi Medium revolves around the lives of a middle-class couple settled in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Saba plays Irrfan's imposing and chirpy wife. The film has been directed by Saket Chaudhary.

We were never the fans of Indian movies. But now, they are out of question till the other side allows our content in their country. The blockage by Pakistan has hit their soft propagandists strategy hard. Only fair by Pakistan.

Films are the best media for projecting soft images of societies around the world. Nobody likes to watch the hate-mongery.

Don't worry friends. Majority of Indians love Pakistani artists. Only those low level politicians hijack these issues and blackmail the producers to extract some money.

In Pakistan the cinema owners are affected to an extent. But the loss to India is strategic. Soon we'll see them allowing our content.

@Realist ur not being a realist, it's not affecting India in any way!! We have movies in so many languages hindi, Marathi, gujarati, Punjabi, telugu, tamil, Malayalam, bengali, odiya, kannadiga, bhojpuri etc, and a very very vast and fledgling TV industry, many theater shows and plays. We have more than enough. And Hollywood too which is secondary to all the Indian pictures. It won't affect us frankly. And remember, our government hasn't banned anything. Just a small film body ruled it and a silly local political party MNS said no pak actors because they want to remain relevant! Ae dil Hai mushkil crossed 100 crores! Please think!

Awwww... Look like Saba and irffan are in love look at his face :) Couple looks beautiful too, although people might say otherwise but I am from Pakistan and I do believe this war and killing of people from both side should be stopped, stars can work in movies without hassle and there should not be any trouble for humans across both borders regardless of whatsoever religion you follow. Humanity is above religion. I wish Saba and Irffan best of luck for their new film

@Pradeep Speak for yourself, and you are not majority. Per se I am not against Pakistani actors acting in Indian movies. But I just don't see the need. We in India have enough talent. Just take any Pakistani actors and they are just replaceable by any number of Indian actors. Just for shock factor and try to push the curiosity button the directors like Karan use Pakistani actors. They just take a mildly controversial path.

@ANJOORAN Pak actors work in realistic dramas of real life with normal wears. They are much skilled. I am very fond of Ashar, Mahira, Saba, Aiza and Sheheryar. We can't compare them with our hyper dancing actors of serials or films. @AHMED Recently Zindagi channel on twitter account said that they will start pak dramas again when situation becomes better. I don't know about others but I am happiest now.

@Realist Are you realist? Pls visit Dubai or any gulf state once to see what Pakistanis across classes do for entertainment. I'm touring Africa with a few contractors and architects from Abu Dabhi but from Pakistan Peshawar and Karachi. Their laptops have an unimaginable no. of Hindi movies. They know all films directors actors and can say some dialogues too. They age from 28 to 52. Four Pakistanis with me here. All their friends and relatives all watch Hindi movies. We are such a nice team. The locals ask us how to know the difference between Indian and Pakistani. We have no answer to that.
