(Some spoilers follow.)

Janaan

Some really loved the music:

But the audience did have a few gripes:

Actor In Law

This writer thought the story needed work:

Actor In Law restored faith in Pakistani cinema for some:

This woman wanted more from Om Puri:

People liked how intelligently the script tackled social issues:

This guy thought the film has oodles of entertainment value:

Some appreciated the cinematography:

i have seen Janaan and Actor in Law at UK cinemas. Both the movies are a hit in UK but Janaan is a record breaking hit. i dont know when will they show Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi in London or New York. Will love to watch it. Pakistan film industry did very well last year and this year they started with hits like 'ho man Jaha', 'Bachana' and 'Maalik'. They all were big hits this year. now the eid releases are adding to Pakistan film industries success.

Zindagi kitni haseen hai puts a big question mark on the husn of zindagi after you've watched it. The worst movie. Sprinkle some garam masala and chaat masala on rotten chickpeas, squeeze some lemon to get the smell out of them, and serve those hot with some chilled coke, and you have zindagi kitni faarigh hai ready for screening. Its only after the first few minutes into the movie you realize your'e in deep S{-} | T.

after watching all three, janaan has more of pakistani colour to it and more original in all aspects giving edge over other two movies.Actor in law appears to be a copy of indian third rate BHONDI comedy which is a waste for fahad mustafa who many a times looks over acting.Om puri has never been a good actor and he retains it.The last movie is a fledgeling effort

Janaan is playing in Toronto - good movie. There should be more releases for Pakistani films in future. The audience is there. All the best to all 3 films.

How do these tweets qualify to make a public opinion? Low likes and RT's puts them in a minority agreement. Not a true picture of the quality (or rather lack of) of either of these films. For the true revival of cinema, its important to encourage films not just cause they are local but because they are good Cinema, worthy of a standing in any society due to their storytelling.

well I just came back after watching "Janaan", awesome awesome movie. luckily they were showing it with Arabic and English subtitles and I was able to translate most of "Pashto" using english subtitles. I wished if it had Urdu sub titles for Pashto parts, you know we can read urdu twice as fast as english. Nevertheless, beautiful movie. I can say "Janaan" is of same calibre as "Dil Walay Dulhain by Shahrokh" in 1990s.
