Bollywood's biggest night came and went, stars glittered and gleamed on the red carpet and some went home with the coveted IIFA Award, dubbed the Bolly Oscar by many.

The evening, which was hosted by cool cats, Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar (who arrived at the venue on donkeys!), happened in Madrid this year; needless to say, stars showed up dressed to nines.

Epic period drama Bajirao Mastani scooped three major awards including best film, best actor (male) for Singh and best supporting actress for Chopra.

Padukone won the best actor (female) award for her role in the comedy Piku, although she was nominated for her role as Mastani in Bajirao Mastani as well.
