Salman Khan sets yet another fashion trend, this time in Sultan
Step aside Anushka Sharma, Salman Khan is too electrifying in the leather jacket and black shalwar kameez to be ignored.
With the release of Sultan 's latest song 440 Volt, this Khan has proved that he doesn't age, not when it comes to looks, moves or... his versatile style.
He changes into three different attires during the course of the song: a silver studded leather jacket paired with black shalwar kameez, sequenced sweats, and a white tux. While we're not feeling the last two, our money is on first, the east-west fusion.
And hey, we wouldn't be surprised if it became a trend. Hell, Salman Khan has been setting trends since his spring chicken days in Bollywood.
1. Going shirtless
Who else could've started this fad other than Salman Khan? He first debuted his bare chest in Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989) and had out hearts doing back flips. He didn't stop there though, his chiseled chest has been seen in many films after that.
2. Greasy, long, middle-parted hair
Not the best fashion trend by this Khan, but he made it work in Tere Naam (2003), and fans loved it! So much so that guys across the border were going bonkers to get this hairstyle. It still gives us nightmares.
(shudders)
3. Turquoise bracelet
He is never seen without it. In fact, there are replicas sold everywhere for Salman Khan fans. But did you know the story behind his lucky charm? According to the man himself, he once took it off his father's wrist while he was sleeping and slid it on his, he has been seen wearing it since.
While he frequently wears it in public, he was first seen wearing it on the silver screen in Tere Naam (2003).
4. Towel thrust (for a lack of a better term)
You'd be lying if you said you never did it. Yep, Salman can turn a thrusting motion with a towel into a craze.
He was trying to win over Priyanka in Jeene Ke Hain Char Din (Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, 2004) with his awesome... ahem moves. Disclaimer: Do not EVER try this move to impress a girl, unless she's a die-hard Sallu fan, otherwise, abort mission.
5. Sunglasses on collar
This Dabangg style (along with the dance move), became immensely popular among little kids when the film came out in 2010. One can argue the style has been there since before, because of ease, but we beg to differ.
Fast forward to 2016 and we've got Sultan filled with trends, and the latest one of all is going to be this:
6. Leather jacket paired with shalwar kameez
This is going to be the new thing, you can bet your bottom dollar on it. Salman Khan can pull anything off effortlessly and this new fashion trend will go big this year.
