The 22 year old singer was shot by a suspect who shot himself as well

Christina Grimmie, a contestant on The Voice, was shot dead after a concert in Orlando.
Grimmie and pop/punk band Before You Exit were signing autographs outside of the concert venue when a man walked up to her and shot her.
The assailant was tackled by Grimmie's brother but before being apprehended the suspect shot himself as well.
Grimmie was rushed to the hospital but her injuries were too much. She passed away at 22.
Grimmie started her music career on YouTube and is known for participating in the sixth season of The Voice where she finished third.
Many took to Twitter to express their sorrow.
Grimmie auditioned for The Voice when she was 20.
